I recently wrote a blog post: “Is God really good?” And of course after coming to the conclusion that he is in fact good, I wanted to share bible verses on the goodness of God to reinforce the message and end the year on a high note. Is there a better way to end the year than by recognizing and appreciating the goodness of God? I don’t think so. So, whether or not you have doubted God’s goodness in the past, below I am sharing 22 beautiful and powerful bible verses about the goodness of God.

1. No one is good, but only God.

Mark 10:18 So Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. (NKJV)

2. God is good and does good.

Psalm 119:68 You are good, and do good; Teach me Your statutes. (NKJV)

3. God is good to all.

Psalm 45:9 The Lord is good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His works. (NKJV)

4. God is good, even in the day of trouble.
