Only when you go through situations that are out of your control you realize that you never really had control over anything in your life. How can you have absolute control over your life if you didn’t even have control over being born or coming into the world the day or way that you did? Take a moment to let that sink in. The one who was, who is, and who will always be in control is God. Because it can be hard to remember that, in today’s blog post I am sharing 15 bible verses about God being in control to remind you who really is in control during the good, the bad, and the moments in between.

The Danger Of Controlling Everything
The moment you try to control everything is the moment you lose yourself.
Because attempting to control what you can’t control opens the door to unnecessary worry, stress, heavy burdens, fear, insecurity, frustration, and all those guys you don’t want sneaking into your mind or heart.
When you choose to hold on to control, you also choose to hold on to worry.
When you choose to hold on to control, you also choose to hold on to frustration.
That’s why if losing control means losing what steals your peace, it is………………….
ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT.
Let God Control What You Can’t
As a recovering control freak (I speak by faith haha), I know how hard it is to not be in control. It’s very scary. Things seem like they will fall out of place or go wrong.
But, handing over control to the right GUY changes everything.
There are no better hands to place my life and dreams in than in God’s hands. The hands that created us, divided the seas, casted demons, and resurrected the dead.
So, why not surrender everything to Him?
Let God control what you can’t (which is just about everything!)
