It is so relieving to know that despite our flawed-to-the-bone human nature, God is constantly doing things for us. Just because we fail to see the blessings surrounding us, doesn’t mean that we aren’t being blessed. We are blessed more than we know (or like to admit) and it’s all thanks to God’s hand being over us and under us on a daily basis. That’s why today I want to talk about the things that God does for his children every single day. So if you need a reminder of what God does for you every day (or what he wants to do for you), here are 12 things God does for us daily.

12 Things God Does For Us Daily

I want to point out two things before running through this list:

1 – We are undeserving of everything God does for us. What we receive from God isn’t based on our own merits but on His never-ending grace.

2 – God does not force anyone to love him, follow him, or accept his blessings. So, if there are things on this list that you are not seeing in your life, take a moment to meditate on whether or not you‘re accepting God’s intervention in your life.

1. Love us, despite our nature.

Jeremiah 31:3 The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying: “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you. (NKJV)

2. Forgive us, despite our actions.

Psalm 103:2-4 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits:
Who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases, (NKJV)

3. Protect us, despite our fear.

Psalm 32:7 You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah (NKJV)

4. Hears us, despite our words.

1 Peter 3:12 For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayers; But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.” (NKJV)

5. Understands us, despite our thoughts.

Psalm 139:2-3 You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off. You comprehend my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways. (NKJV)

6. Calls us, despite our works.

2 Timothy 1:9 Who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began. (NKJV)

7. Sustains us, despite our condition.

Philippians 4:19 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (NKJV)

8. Shows us mercy, despite our behavior.

Lamentations 3:22-23 Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. (NKJV)

9. Guides us, despite our steps.

Isaiah 30:21 Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left. (NKJV)

10. Walks with us, despite our location.

Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” (NKJV)

11. Gives us grace, despite our sinful nature.

Romans 5:20 Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more. (NKJV)

12. Helps us, despite our problems.

Isaiah 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’ (NKJV)
