What Does The Bible Say About Money?
1. Loving money can be dangerous.
1 Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. (NKJV)
2. Money will never satisfy you.
Ecclesiastes 5:10 He who loves silver will not be satisfied with silver; Nor he who loves abundance, with increase. This also is vanity. (NKJV)
3. Money that is earned with dishonesty will diminish.
Proverbs 13:11 Wealth gained by dishonesty will be diminished, But he who gathers by labor will increase. (NKJV)
4. Money can’t shield you.
Proverbs 11:4 Riches do not profit in the day of wrath, But righteousness delivers from death. (NKJV)
5. The same way that money comes, it can go.
Proverbs 23:4-5 Do not overwork to be rich; because of your own understanding, cease! Will you set your eyes on that which is not? For riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away like an eagle toward heaven. (NKJV)

10. Who you are is more important than the money you have.

11. Do not put your trust in your money.

12. Handle your money without covetousness.
Hebrews 13:5 Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you. (NKJV)
13. Don’t let money destroy you.
1 Timothy 6:9 But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. (NKJV)
14. Put God before wealth.
Matthew 6:24 No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. (NKJV)
15. God does not make favoritism with the one who has money.
Proverbs 22:2 The rich and the poor have this in common, The Lord is the maker of them all. (NKJV)
16. God is the one gives power to get money.
Deuteronomy 8:18 “And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day. (NKJV)
17. Don’t handle your money with greediness.
Proverbs 15:27 He who is greedy for gain troubles his own house, But he who hates bribes will live. (NKJV)
18. Money can not save your soul.
Mark 8:36 For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? (NKJV)
19. Be content with what God has blessed you with.
Philippians 4:11-13 Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content: I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. (NKJV)
20. Unlike money, God’s blessings do not add sorrow.
Proverbs 10:22 The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, And He adds no sorrow with it. (NKJV)
21. When God blesses you, he blesses abundantly.

22. Honor God with what you have.

23. When you give to God, He repays you abundantly.

24. Don’t owe anyone anything.

25. Provide for your household.
1 Timothy 5:8 But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. (NKJV)
26. Do not close your heart to sharing your blessings.
Acts 20:35 I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ (NKJV)
27. Be generous but also wise. Give according to what God has blessed you with.

30. Do not increase your wealth through injustice.
Proverbs 16:8 Better is a little with righteousness,

31. Both the diligent and the slacker will eat according to their work.
Proverbs 10:4 He who has a slack hand becomes poor, but the hand of the diligent makes rich. (NKJV)
32. Seek God above all things and everything else will be added as God pleases.
