Pain can help form your character.

Romans 5:3-5 And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. (NKJV)

Pain is momentary, but the glory in God is eternal.

2 Corinthians 4:17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. (NKJV)

Behind every pain there is a bigger purpose.

Through pain you can experience God’s grace and comfort.

God doesn’t abandon you during pain.

God sees and holds on to your tears.

Psalm 56:8 You number my wanderings; put my tears into Your bottle;
Are they not in Your book? (NKJV)

God is a stronghold during pain.

Nahum 1:7 The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knows those who trust in Him. (NKJV)

God helps, strengthens, and upholds you during pain.

Isaiah 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’ (NKJV)

God is near you when you are in pain.

Psalms 34:18 The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit. (NKJV)

God is able to heal your pain and bind up your wounds.

Psalm 147:3 He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. (NKJV)

God will never leave you to deal with your pain alone.

Deuteronomy 31:8 And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.” (NKJV)

God upholds you with His hand.

The pain you feel right not does not compare to what God will do in your life.

Romans 8:18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. (NKJV)

The will of God is for you to remain grateful even in the midst of pain.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. (NKJV)

Don’t let your faith fade away during pain.

Acts 14:22strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and saying, “We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God.” (NKJV)

Regardless of the pain you may feel, God renews you internally.

2 Corinthians 4:16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. (NKJV)

The word of God can comfort you when you are in pain.

Psalm 119:50 This is my comfort in my affliction, for Your word has given me life. (NKJV)

Pain is not eternal.

Revelation 21:4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” (NKJV)

Pain is inevitable, but it is better to suffer for a good purpose.

1 Peter 3:17 For it is better, if it is the will of God, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil. (NKJV)

Don’t deny God during pain.
