1. Idolatry – Putting anyone/anything over God.
Jonah 2:8 “Those who cling to worthless idols turn away from God’s love for them. (NIV)
Ezequiel 14: 5 that I may seize the house of Israel by their heart, because they are all estranged from Me by their idols.” ’

2. Lack of knowledge of God.
Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children. (NKJV)
3. Sins – no matter how big or small.
Isaiah 59:2 But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear. (NKJV)

4. Fear.
1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. (NKJV)
2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. (NKJV)
5. Religiosity.
James 1:26 If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one’s religion is useless. (NKJV)

8. People Pleasing

9. Trying to be justified by works
Galatians 5:4 You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace. (NKJV)
10. Pride.
Psalm 138: 6 Though the Lord is on high, yet He regards the lowly; But the proud He knows from afar. (NKJV)
11. Lack of Faith.
Hebrews 3:12 Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God. (NKJV)
12. Disobedience.

16. Judging Others.

17. Lack of Mercy.

18. Not Abiding In God.

19. Being Negligent.
