20 POWERFUL PROMISES FROM GOD TO HIS PEOPLE
Although there are thousands of promises in the Bible, I’ve compiled a list of 20 of my favorite promises from God to his people.
1. God is good always.
Psalm 145:9 The Lord is good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His works. (NKJV)
2. God will never leave you.
Deuteronomy 31:8 And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.” (NKJV)
3. God is with you always.
Isaiah 43:2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you. (NKJV)
4. God will always strengthen you.
Isaiah 40:29 He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength. (NKJV)
5. God has good plans for your life.
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. (NKJV)
