Have you been feeling misunderstood by the people you LOVE? The only thing worst than being misunderstood by someone else is being misunderstood by a person that is supposed to love, understand, and support you. This can be a parent, a partner, a sibling, or even a best friend. It definitely hurts when a loved one makes you feel like your feelings don’t matter. But guess what? There’s someone who will never disregard your feelings, shame you, or even let you deal with your feelings alone. The same God that created you, knows you to perfection, and loves you unconditionally, understands you. No matter how many times I’ve felt misunderstood by loved ones, there’s never been a time where I’ve felt misunderstood by God. If you’ve been feeling misunderstood, below I’m sharing 24 bible verses for when you feel misunderstood.

FEELING MISUNDERSTOOD
I’m not going to mention any names, but I do want to share that I have felt VERY misunderstood these last couple of days. Although I have felt misunderstood a good portion of my life, this feeling has been very heightened recently.
Usually I’m able to get over this quickly and just carry on with my life. But, because it has been a consecutive thing that’s been happening last week, it has made me feel super frustrated, exhausted, and even discouraged. This last week has probably been one of the worst weeks I’ve had in a long time. Feeling like your feelings don’t matter, your thoughts don’t matter, and your opinions don’t matter to loved ones can really do a number on you. It did on me this past week. However, I refuse to let this ruin my relationship with God and the good things going on in my life. Do I want to be understood by my loved ones? Absolutely. But, can I force them to understand me? No.
THE ONE WHO DOES UNDERSTAND YOU
Understanding someone else is a choice.
And now I know that God is the only one who genuinely chooses to understand you every single time. Before you even go on your knees and ask him to understand you, he already does. Why? Because He created you. Who can understand the creation better than it’s creator? God knows you, sees you, hears you, and understands you.
Last night as I was praying to God, he showed me that no matter how understood I feel by others, I have a heavenly father who understands me, a loyal friend who supports me, a all powerful God who loves me, and a teacher who hears me.
